Amber Clark is a medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Originally from Monroe, Louisiana she graduated from Toogaloo College in Mississippi where she was chosen for  the early identification program for medical school as well as being captain of the dance team. She  danced since age 3 and performed with Twin City Ballet. At Brown, she studied West African Malian dance. Amber continues her involvement in dance as well as her strong commitment to community outreach. She volunteered with Lifespan community services on the program See Test and Treat which offers screening to uninsured. Women. She was involved in the creation of the Lifespan Community Advisory Board and a Diabetes Awareness Program.  She also models and was Miss Black Rhode Island, USA, 2013.

 

Amber is planning to go into the field of physiatry, specializing in dance and sports medicine.

She plans to ultimately return to her hometown to also bring the gift of dance to the underprivileged youth.
